As of June 11th, WHO has announced a Phase 6 Pandemic Alert concerning the case of Influenza A. Even though the severity of the virus is classified as moderate, the number of deaths which are related to the H1N1 virus are around 230 as of June 20th. The number of cases related to the virus has already exceeded 50,000. As the virus has proved its spread over most continents including Australia and New Zealand, it is regarded as a global pandemic. It still remains that the basic form of prevention is through the good practice of hygiene in daily or business routines.
